Software specialist Color-Logic has announced that it has certified the Ricoh Pro C7200X digital sheetfed colour press when equipped with the EFI Fiery E45A or E85A digital front end.

Confirming the certification, Color-Logic chief technical officer and co-founder Richard Ainge, says, “The new Ricoh Pro C7200X digital press with EFI Fiery DFE, when using white toner and the Color-Logic colour system and design tools, enables printers to differentiate their printed marketing materials.

“Moreover, it provides those printers with a competitive edge over other printers not using white toner. The Ricoh Pro C7200X, which can print white as well as CMYK toners, enables Color-Logic licensees to create dramatic decorative effects and 250 foil-like colours in a single pass.
