Konica Minolta has unveiled its new AccurioPress C10500 and C10500S production presses, which complete its C14010 family of flagship toner engines.
In an expansion of its production print offering, the new presses have speeds up to 105ppm and can handle sheets up to 450gsm, long sheets up to 1,300mm, and embossed paper, envelopes, polyester, and cut-sheet labels.
Further features include automatic adjustments and monitoring using the IQ-601 Intelligent Quality Optimizer Unit for precise colour profiles and IM-104 Intelligent Media Sensor to identify paper type and weight.
Both presses utilise the company’s Simitri V toner, which delivers an offset matte finish and uses lower fusing temperatures, reduced energy use and paper impact, according to Konica Minolta. While the S model has additional capabilities with its fifth colour feature, including white toner.
According to Konica Minolta, the presses are ideal for commercial printers, in-house print rooms, and high-volume enterprises, with their image quality making them well suited for packaging, invitations and marketing among other applications.
Malcolm Smith, category manager of professional print at Konica Minolta, said the models will help expand the company’s target audience.
Smith said: "The AccurioPress C10500 and C10500S add exciting new options to our C14010 range, expanding our target audience and enabling a broad spectrum of print businesses to better utilise their operators' time by working smarter by utilising greater automation, without sacrificing quality and consistency.”
Both models are immediately commercially available.
